Microorganisms Update (Tetris style Item system with gear crafting)


So, I want to start off by apologizing for how long it took this update to come out. I thought it was only going to take me 2 weeks and then 2 weeks turned into 2 months. Funny how that works out. This update while not having new bosses or a lot of new skills does add in a new system that while not entirely original is something special. So, let's get into it.

  • Added a new system called Microorganism crafting. Microorganism crafting starts with adding a Microorganism block to the crafter. These Microorganism blocks can be farmed from specific bosses. After a Microorganism block is added you then can add a boss material. Each boss material has a 1 and 4 chance to add 1 of 4 affixes on to the Microorganism block. Each Microorganism block can have up to 4 affixes on it at one time and all boss materials have different affixes to be chased after. You can also remove unwanted affixes for 1000 DNA each.

  • After you are done crafting a Microorganism block you can store it or slot it onto your slime. The blocks can be turned 360 degrees so you can find new ways to slot just one more Microorganism block into your build.

  • All Affixes on a Microorganism block can be upgraded as well for 10 RNA per Microorganism block multiplied by the level of the block. So, if you have a level one Microorganism block and a level two Microorganism block in the upgrader you would have to spend 30 RNA to upgrade both blocks.

  • Normal Microorganism blocks drop 10% of the time from bosses. Each boss has a different block shape that it drops except for the credits which drops all of them.

  • There are also Golden Microorganism blocks. A Golden Microorganism block does everything a normal Microorganism block does only it also has a skill attached to it.

  • Golden Microorganism blocks only drop from mutated bosses. Golden Microorganism blocks drop 1% of the time from mutated bosses' level 1- 10 the drop rate increases by 5% every 10 levels after that capping out at level 100 with a 47% drop rate.

  • New skill added to Golden Microorganism blocks where now when you right click your slime will shoot a fireball in that direction.

  • New skill added to Golden Microorganism blocks where if you use a potion, you will activate the invincibility skill and become invincible for whatever your invincibility timer is set to.

  • New skill added to Golden Microorganism blocks where you gain a revive and can revive on death. (This skill stacks)

  • New skill added to Golden Microorganism blocks where if you hit a bleeding enemy with a fireball you gain +2 to bleed damage and +10 fireball damage.

  • New skill added to Golden Microorganism blocks where your lightning traps start to spawn water balls continuously.

  • 20 tabs of storage for Microorganism blocks available more to come in future updates.

  • 3 Equipment plates added and hidden across the skill tree to find. Equipment plates are new slot layouts for your slime's equipment. They add more slots and new layouts so you can try to equip as many Microorganism blocks as possible into the weird layout. More of these will also be added in future updates.

  • 3 new large puzzles added to hide the new Equipment plates. See if you can figure out all three. (They're not that hard.)

  • Added 300 new base skills.

  • Limited minions to only 10 minions at a time to make the game run better in end game and cause less visual chaos.

  • Explosion times have been reduced from a second to 0.2 seconds so they will disappear quicker this should also help the game run smoother in end game.

  • Slime turrets now despawn after 5 seconds instead of 15 seconds. This should also help with performance.

  • Bug fixed where Minions spawned from turrets weren't despawning between wilds and skills screen.

  • Bug fixed where explosions wouldn't despawn between wilds and skill screen.

  • Bug fixed where super important puzzle used to finish the game and unlock the cure mechanic was invisible. (So sorry about this one I really don't know how that one slipped by me.)

  • Bug fixed where bombs would break the room boss dropping materials.

  • Several other minor bugs fixed as well. I really just can't remember them all it's been a wild 2 months.

I think that's all for this update the next one for sure will not take as long as this one. The next update is going to be a small music and sound update. I'm going to add new music to the wilds as well as add new sound effects to some of the crafting and puzzles. I want to thank you all for giving Skills and Slimes the time of day I really apricate it. If you find any bugs don't hesitate to report them, I'll fix them asap.
